It is March 2, 2011 and about time we put an update on the site for how Joshua is doing. He is doing extremely well and is in the last few months of his senior year in high school. Josh's health continues to be excellent and if you did not know he was born with heart disease, you would never know it to look at him. While Josh tried many sports growing up, he decided he liked golf most of all and played for his high school team all four years. Ever since Josh was a little boy, he has always had a love for animals. For that reason, Josh will be heading to the University of Kentucky this Fall where he has been accepted into the School of Agriculture and will be studying Animal Science. His dream is to some day become a large animal Veterinarian. Josh still sees his cardioligist every six months and will continue to take blood thinners for the rest of his life. We can only hope that any child born with tricuspid atresia will end up doing as well a Josh. Sincerely, The Hennessy Family
